Can't be help, when fate binds you both together.
Wendy stood patiently at the bus stop for her best friend Cally.
-crashes-
"OWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"Oh god!, I am terribly sorry, please let me help you up!"
Wendy rubs her head and opens her eyes, to only see a blurry vision of a guy extending his hand out.
"arghhughhhh.. thanks.." Wendy mumbled.
"I'm sorry I didn't see you there.." The guy spoke.
"Nah, it's alright, I didn't see where I was going either!" Wendy replied as she chuckled.
She finally got an up close view of the guy who helped her up. He had brownish tinted hair, thick eyebrows. Gorgeous light brown eyes, a high nose bridge, cherry colored lips that shine (lip balm?).
He does really have a nice built and he's like a sunshine type. Definite eye candy.
"Hi, I haven't introduced myself, I'm Ethan! You are?"
"Oh dear, where are my manners. Hello, i'm Wendy. Pleasure"
"Pleasure's all mine," Ethan smiled politely. "Hey uh-"
"hey babe!" Cally called out from afar.
"oh, haha, well, I gotta go, nice meeting you!" Wendy blushed.
Ethan waved as Cally and Wendy brushed past him.
Cally probed Wendy to 'fess up on the eye candy she saw.
They talked on their way to school and Cally kept cooing every time Wendy talked about some exchanged glances between the two of them.
---
"ALRIGHT CLASS! WE HAVE A NEW STUDENT!!" Miss Adams hollowed "Please welcome, Ethan Brynes"
Cally nudged Wendy and asked, "can it be..?"
It was.
"Uh, hello everyone I'm Ethan Brynes. I'm 17 this year and nice to meet all of you. I am 17 this year and uh, well, please do look out for me"
Whispers and sounds from all around the class mostly all in agreement.
"Well Mr. Brynes, you can sit behind Ms. Wendy Adams."
"WHAT DID SHE SAY?" Wendy mouthed to Cally.
Cally smirked and shrugged.
Once again, the couple exchanged smiles and left it as it is.

The sun's fading, I stared outside the MRT's windows.
"Tampines station, please mind the gap."
I dread every foot step i took whilst walking to the opposite platform.
Even me, myself know how heavy every footstep i take.
Two minutes before the train approaches, I dropped the goodbye present. I just stared at it. one by one, my tears fell on to that meticulously wrapped present. I took a jump back in reality and quickly wiped off my tears. Thinking to myself. "hey, he wouldn't want to see me cry, for sure."
I boarded the train and reminiscence the fun memories we created together. I remembered the late night texts, the care he'd shown whenever I was down. He was caring, unlike any guy. I sound like his girlfriend. When in actual fact, we're just super duper close friends. He has his girlfriend, she told me that she cried on his shoulder. He told me how sour his heart felt upon that event. As his close friend, I didn't want that to happen would I?
"Changi Aiport, please mind the gap."
As I exited the station, i had this sinking feeling in my heart. It's like he'd never come back. He'll never talk to me. He would never be the same like before.
My handphone starting ringing.
"hel..hello?"
"hey Amber! where are you?"
"oh uhm, Cody, I'm reaching the departure gate soon, see ya"
I hung up immediately, I couldn't bear it. It was suffocating. These few days, my heart went numb. I know I fell for him. It felt so right talking to him, but I screwed up my chance, I didn't tell Cody, now, he was leaving, for good.
I couldn't seem to find the departure gate, oh yeah, my tears are blurring my vision.
"OOF"
some weirdo just hugged me from the back.
"Amber, what took you so long?" Cody said, sulkily.
OH crap, I coming to tears and he's hugging me oh shit. I pushed Cody with the back of my hands and looked up at the ceiling. I was heard that if you looked up to the sky, seeing the countless stars above, you'd stop crying. When in actual fact, your tear ducts somehow seems to take back the tears. I turned around,
"Hey big guy." I punched his shoulder.
" That hurt," he said, with puppy eyes.
"When's your flight to Hong Kong?"
"about 3 hours later, I checked in and yeah, we can go stroll around the area and I can board the plane on time. They say business class is amazing" He surfaced a childish grin.
I kept silent throughout my stroll. Cody asked me if there was anything wrong, i mumbled no and gave him his present and card. I told him clearly that he wasn't suppose to read the card until he boards the plane and they already took off. He pinky promised me. I kept silent again, he asked me the same question but this time, I didn't answer. He went mad all of a sudden he said:
"why aren't you answering me? is there something wrong? tell me?! why are you keeping quiet, It's really hard after yesterday i went out with you and the wonderful time we had together and now you're not talking to me anymore, you frikking ignored my messages I testing you like maybe a gazillion times?"
I just stared at him, with tears in my eyes, everyone started crowding round us. He grabbed my hands, and pulled me to the secluded carpark. Tears started streaming down my face, I can't take it already. I just shook my wrist out from his grasp and squat down. He stood there, stunned and seem like he have no idea on what to do.
"It's not that I didn't want to answer you. I just do not want you to hear my crumbling down. I'm trying so hard to resist the feeling of liking you. You think it's easy? I didn't want this to happen either. If I knew right from the start that we're going to be apart and that you were the one leaving I should have never talked to you!" I cried more. He plonked himself down beside me, held my hand and said "I broke up with Lindsey yesterday. I knew you were the one. Though I will be leaving, I hope you'll take this." He passed me a small box inscribed with the name - Tiffany and Co.
"Please take it. And, create skype. I want to see your face everyday. I promise I'll text you everyday. Be mine please."
I kissed his cheeks. That was all I could do. I sent him off. We're strong, till now.

I have absolutely no writing style. When the inspiration hits me, I start writing the stories. It can be fanfics, one shots and even chapters. Would you be a darling and read it?
